Health update on Paul and Kara: Both are now recovered from their stomach viruses. After 2 long weeks Kara will now return to school tomorrow. Continued prayers for full recovery of her appetite and desire to eat as this is still a struggle for her and will determine her successful return to class ---- thanks to all who have devoted time to praying for our fam and for the weekly check- ins and inquires on everyone's progress ️

Prayers for my husband Paul and youngest daughter Kara, who have been fighting a stomach virus this week. They are improving but Kara is particularly struggling with nausea and being able to eat/keep food down. Because she is type 1 diabetic this is much more challenging. Keeping her blood sugars stable and the food intake/insulin balanced has been tricky - ensuring she is not getting dehydrated. This is day 4.
Thanks for the prayer support. I know they will both be back to normal again soon!

Update on Josh. Treatments and final scans are done. Just waiting on the final analysis to confirm the cancer is gone so he can ring that bell! I would like to ask for additional prayer for my husband Doug. He is recovering well from heart surgery but the pain issue that he struggled with before the heart issue has returned leaving him in pain every day. They will only continue testing when his heart surgery is healed but he is suffering every day, and to make matters worse, we had flooding in our finished basement as a result of losing power for 3 days when the sump pumps stopped. There is a lot of damage and Clean All can’t come for awhile leaving the door open for oder and mold. Oder is already through the house. Doug is full of anxiety that he can’t do the work and the floor needs to come up. Our son and myself have been working at it but can really use some help.

Our six year old granddaughter Hayley had a successful surgery on March 21. The doctor said that the surgery went better than expected! Hayley was able to return home one week earlier than expected. She has both legs in casts for the next six weeks and then will return to South Carolina to have tthe casts removed, and do extensive Physiotherapy. Please continue to pray for Hayley and the family. Also, please pray that Hayley's legs will heal well and that her pain level will be reduced. Thank you for praying.
